Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations.
Duties:
Perform routine facility and manufacturing floor maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems
Competent metal Fabricate and welding skills
Conduct regular inspections of machines to identify maintenance needs
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from employees on the floor
Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Must be proficient operating tool room mill and lathe
Must be able to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and repair these systems
Experienced with electrical systems including PLC & CNC systems and ability to read schematics
Must have excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills
Must have basic Microsoft Word & Excel skills
Must be able to operate Fork truck, overhead & Job cranes, boom and scissor lifts
Must be able to monitor inventory on maintenance supplies, tools and equipment
Responsible for keeping maintenance shop area clean and organized
Reports to the production supervisor
Requirements:
Minimum five years of maintenance experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Good hand to eye vision with peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
Must have own lockable toolbox and designated hand tools
Must have a valid driver’s license along with reliable transportation to and from work.
Wears protective equipment such as safety eye glasses, hearing protection, and safety-toe boots
Must provide United States work authorization
