Global Polymer Industries, Inc. is Hiring a Safety Coordinator Near Madison, SD

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join our team. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a safe work environment.

Duties:

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as Workers Compensation, OSHA, First Aid, EPA, EHS, and Occupational Health
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and make recommendations for improvements
- Maintain safety records and prepare reports on safety performance
- Participate in emergency response planning and drills

Experience:

- Proven experience in occupational health and safety
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices
- Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis
- Excellent report writing skills
- Experience in training development on safety topics
- Ability to fabricate or modify safety equipment is a plus
