**Description**

The Dietary Aid will support cooking and serving patients, residents, staff and visitors. In this role you must be organized and friendly as you will be serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks throughout the day. **Hours for this position is 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM during the week and every other weekend. When a weekend is worked you will 2 days off during the week.**

Some duties include but are not limited to:

* Dishes up desserts and salads, sets up cold trays and fills hot foods for delivery to units, portions desserts and pans bacon

* Daily kitchen preparations

* Food preparation and proportion control when serving to internal and external customers

* Cleaning pots, pans, work station and kitchen equipment

* Accurately collects data for periodic reporting

* May transport food items from main Market Street Campus to Grand Avenue Campus

* May operate cash register

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG SCREEN AND CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS.

**Required**

High School/GED or better.

**Experience**

**Preferred**

**1 year:** Prefer one year of food service experience
