GNR has been retained by a 50-year-old, international organization in need of an experienced FINANCIAL CONTROLLER for a small but growing $20M division in the Austin, TX region.


This position offers high visibility with a great career growth path within the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, you manage all accounting & finance requirements for this division that provides product R&D, materials & testing technologies to our nations' DEFENSE & MILITARY entities.


You will be instrumental in the cost factors associated with bids, proposals & packaging for the win!

Manage and mentor a small team, manage incurred Cost & risk mitigation plans, Profit & Loss statements, monthly & quarterly reporting reqs, ensure DCAA government audit compliance etc


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum 5 years experience within a Defense / Aerospace environment
• In-depth FAR / DFAR / DCAA / SBIR / STTR requirements & Government Accounting (GAAP) experience
• US Citizenship with ability to get a DoD Clearance
• CPA is a plus
