Class details:

• Class numbers: 172967
• Students: 1 adult
• Availability: Friday afternoons
• Preferred start date: ASAP
• Lesson Frequency: once a week
• Lesson Duration: 1 hour
• Location: Lessons should be held at the clients' place in New York, NY, close to Byran Park. Offices in Bridgewater, NJ are also an option.
• Current target language level: Proficient
• Native language: Mandarin
• Student goals: 
  • Pronunciation of all English American phonemes, intonation, and speech speed, using recordings and analytical equipment/software
  • Accent modification curricula customized per learner.
  • Vowel and consonant pronunciation training
  • Proper syllable and word stress exercises, intonation, rhythm, and pitch training
  • Improve presentation skills.
  • Final assessment showing development metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience
