Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person customized lessons to children and adults in Troy, MI.

Job Information:

• Class numbers: 168464/168465/168523
• Students: 1 adult and 2 children (aged 5 and 10), all taking separate, back-to-back classes
• Availability: Saturday and Sunday morning
• Preferred start date: ASAP
• Lesson frequency: Twice per week
• Lesson length: 1 hour for older child and mother, 45 minutes for 5-year-old
• Students' location: Lessons are to be held at the family's home in Troy, MI 48085
• Native language: Hindi
• Students' language needs and goals: Practicing conversation; pronunciation; reducing accent

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years of experience
