Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing processes and coding systems.

Duties:
- Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
- Utilize medical collection techniques to keep accounts receivable current
- Research and appeal denied claims
- Maintain updated knowledge of insurance guidelines
- Process payments from insurance companies and patients
- Ensure all patient information is accurate and up-to-date in the billing system

Requirements:
- Proficiency in medical billing, coding, and terminology
- Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG, and other coding systems
- Experience with medical records and billing systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
