Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
- Provide counseling and education to patients on preventive care, health promotion, and disease management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, and minor surgical interventions
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Current valid license as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in occupational health, pediatrics, family planning, memory care, or laboratory settings is preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (Cerner experience is a plus)
- Strong clinical skills in areas such as specimen collection processing, gastric lavage, DME (durable medical equipment), etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
