Provide ESL (English Second Language) classroom instruction to students at the secondary education level. Teach grammar, spelling, and other aspects of English language. Manage materials and resources. Devise lesson plans, sequencing, goals, and timelines. Match lessons to the abilities and individual needs of students. Devise and administer oral and written tests or evaluations. Select textbooks, online materials, and other teaching tools. Manage student behavior in large and small groups for the purpose of providing a safe and optimal learning environment. Meet with colleagues to share objectives and techniques. Meet with students and parents.

Education: Bachelor* – English Language Education, TESOL, or a related field of study;

Experience: One (1) year* in the position above or in a related education or ESL role;

Education and/or experience must include:

1. ESL Instruction and Methodology

2. Classroom Management

3. Student progress assessments

*Will accept equivalent foreign degree; will accept a graduate degree in above major fields of study in lieu of work experience.
