Position Overview:
The technology delivery manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the management and operational oversight of many strategic systems across Individual Markets, with a particular emphasis on the Preneed platform. This position involves ensuring the alignment, stability, reliability, and maintainability of critical systems, including various SaaS solutions, portals, and one-off software applications. A significant part of this role includes managing both Business as Usual (BAU) operations and various technology projects, along with fostering strong relationships with strategic business partners and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Preneed Platform Management:

• Lead the management, optimization, and enhancement of the Preneed applications
• Ensure these systems align with broader business strategies and meet operational requirements.

Business as Usual (BAU) Operations:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the technology platforms, ensuring smooth and efficient BAU activities.
• Implement best practices for system maintenance, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Manage incident resolution and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

Project Management:

• Lead and oversee technology projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver value.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for resource allocation, timeline management, and project execution.
• Employ agile methodologies and project management best practices to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Strategic Business Partner Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with business partners, aligning technology solutions with business goals.
• Facilitate collaboration between technology teams and business units to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Regularly engage with partners to discuss technology roadmaps, project updates, and strategic initiatives.

Internal Coordination and Communication:

• Conduct regular meetings with internal business partners to ensure alignment on technology roadmaps, project statuses, and strategic directions.
• Foster a culture of transparency and collaboration between technology teams and internal stakeholders.

Technology Roadmap Development:

• Develop and maintain a dynamic technology roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic vision and operational needs.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance business operations.

Operational Excellence:

• Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead disaster recovery planning and execution for critical systems, ensuring business continuity.

Compliance and Security:

• Uphold regulatory and audit requirements, ensuring the security and integrity of all managed systems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and standard operating procedures for compliance and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Extensive experience in managing technology platforms, with specific expertise in Mainframe-based applications like main and low-code platforms like Mendix.
• Proven leadership skills in vendor management and software development lifecycle management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive innovation and influence change.
• Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships with strategic business partners and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in agile methodologies and project management.
