GLO Resources is currently seeking to fill a Quality Assurance Manager position in Bay Springs, MS.

The rate of pay depending on experience is between $85,000 - $100,000.00 annually (potentially higher for the right candidate).

The schedule is Monday to Friday, full time with occasional overtime depending upon deadlines.

Summary:

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for regulatory compliance of production within our facility. They ensure that all operational quality systems follow company internal policies and Quality Manual, ASME, NBBI, and DOT applicable codes and regulations, and ensure that quality data is available. They are responsible for supporting the manufacturing and supply chain.

Essential Functions and Experience/Skill Requirements:

• Lead Manufacturing and Supplier Quality initiatives to support quality metrics, and reporting, and help resolve quality issues.
• Lead and support the Red Tag procedures ensuring appropriate resourcing to minimize COPQ and limit part shortages.
• Conduct external audits of suppliers, oversee corrective and preventative actions and effectiveness activities, and support resolution of issues.
• Lead/Manage and assign tasks for quality goals and initiatives both long and short term with the leadership team.
• Develop, improve, and maintain existing company quality objectives, and track trend performance.
• Develop and improve existing quality data systems and ensure communication of relevant quality data at the corporate level.
• Ensure the company has risk-based quality processes in place in all areas.

Qualifications:

• A BS Degree in a Scientific or Engineering discipline is required; MS preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fabrication-related field within a manufacturing facility; Fabrication of pressure vessels desired.
• Minimum of 3 years leading Quality Programs and associated teams at a site company or corporate level
• Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements (49 CFR, ASME, NBBI, ISO)
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, SOPs, and quality systems
• Works on multiple assignments in collaboration with various department system owners
