GLO Resources is Hiring a Benefits and Insurance Assistant Near Baton Rouge, LA

GLO Resources is currently hiring a Front Desk Customer Service Assistant in Baton Rouge, LA.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.

The Rate of Pay for this position is between $17.00-$21.00 an hour depending on experience.

Job Description:

Glo Resources is seeking an experienced Front Desk Customer Service Assistant to work locally in Baton Rouge, LA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, and administrative support, and maintaining a professional and organized front desk environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Willingness to undergo training on operating systems.
  • Experience with web-based systems is a plus.
  • Possesses a strong sense of attention to detail and math skills for auditing purposes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, answer inquiries, and educate them on benefits.
  • Comfortable working within a paperless office environment.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to multitask and follow instructions efficiently.
  • Answering the switchboard and designating calls to the appropriate recipient.
  • Delivering mail to other suites in the building and rectifying any delivery mistakes.
  • Contacting other offices in the complex to alert them of received deliveries.
  • Responsible for disposing of garbage in the dumpster.
  • Cleaning common areas, kitchen, and conference rooms after meetings.
  • Keeping office space clean and maintaining cleanliness in all common areas.
  • Taking ownership of mistakes and promptly notifying the supervisor.
  • Adhering to professional business attire standards.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team and not independently.
  • Assisting teammates when needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned by upper management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with insurance, customer service, or administrative roles preferred.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Office 360, and SharePoint.
  • Possesses a strong sense of attention to detail and math skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
