Glenwood Springs Healthcare is Hiring a Housekeeping Aide Near Grand Junction, CO

We are looking for a Housekeeper to help our team of housekeeping associates and ensure we provide excellent customer service. This position reports directly to our Housekeeping Director.
Housekeeping responsibilities include organizing employee shifts, training, motivating team members, and checking private and public areas for tidiness. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sanitation regulations and team management abilities.
Ultimately, you will help ensure our daily housekeeping operations run smoothly and that residents/patients are satisfied.
Responsibilities:

  • Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness.
  • Respond to resident/patient complaints and special requests.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock.
  • Participate in large cleaning projects as required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in English (verbal & written) essential.
  • Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for Skilled Nursing Home Facilities.
  • Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products.
  • Excellent organizational and team management skills.
  • Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • A high school diploma is a plus.

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
