As our Utility Man we are looking for someone who can multitask in many areas of our warehouse and are looking for someone who is a self-starter and even fill in for production if needed. Below is listed some of the responsibilities of the Utility Man and we are looking for someone who is efficient with forklifts. In our facility we use gas powered forklifts for transporting glass, dumping hoppers and more.
This position does include janitorial duties as well.
Utility Man Job Responsibilities
· Sweep floors and keep aisles clean
· Run floor scrubber
· Empty Hoppers
· Scrap defective glass on the carts
· Take boxes of aluminum scrap to be recycled
· Drive to VinylMax if needed
· Pick up sheet metal for Deco
· Deliver small pieces locally to customers using the pup truck
· Keep spacer inventory organized and on the racks in IG and back wall
· Empty garbage bags in breakroom and restrooms
· Stock paper towels and soap in breakroom and restrooms
· Blow the parking lot with the leaf blower
· Keep boxes of supplies put away on the back-storage shelves
This position is M-F 9-5:30pm starting at $17/hr with raises every 6 months.
