GLENNS CARSTAR is Hiring a parts specialist Near Lincoln, NE

Job Overview:
Your role will involve negotiating prices, ensuring timely delivery of parts. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team. As a Parts Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and receiving parts as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Duties:
- Manage inventory of automotive parts, ensuring accurate stock levels and availability
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms
- Coordinate with the service department to fulfill parts requests for automotive repairs
- Process orders and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory levels
- Assist customers in identifying the correct parts for their vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to parts orders
- Collaborate with the demand planning team to forecast future parts requirements
- Ensure compliance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines and standards

Skills:

- Experience working in a dealership or warehouse environment, preferably in the automotive industry
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from suppliers
- Proficient in using inventory management software systems
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and address their needs
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage inventory and track shipments accurately
- Knowledge of automotive service and repair processes is an asset

- Familiarity with OEM guidelines for parts ordering and handling is preferred
