Responsibilities

The DevOps Architect partners with the Director of Engineering and various engineering teams to lead the design and implementation of software products. Additionally, this individual is responsible for building platforms and frameworks to create consistent, verifiable, and automatic applications and infrastructure management between non-production and production environments.

• Provide technical leadership across all build, release, and operations areas to ensure the delivery of exceptional DevOps technical solutions.
• Identify setbacks and shortcomings in the current engineering processes.
• Create suitable DevOps channels across the organization.
• Establish a continuous build environment to speed up software development.
• Support department standards for architecture design and programming.
• Apply experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Respond to and resolve features and bugs in mobile applications.
• Escalate issues or requests when appropriate.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration-Continuous Delivery (CI-CD) /DevOps concept and tools.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps platform tooling like Chef, puppet, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
• Must have or be willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine, subject to legal requirements.
