Position Summary:
Serving customers
Taking food and drink orders
Meeting and greeting customers
Operating cash registers and receiving payment from customers in cash or by credit card
Maintaining dining areas and kitchen areas, including clearing and cleaning tables, emptying trash cans, and washing or vacuuming floors
Promoting positive guest relations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Handle all transactions efficiently and accurately
Issue receipts, coupons, returns, and change
Opens and/or closes the Front End as scheduled
Maintains cleanliness in every area of the store at all times
Delivers quality customer service at all times
Presents a positive attitude towards the job and coworkers
Have strong organization and planning skills; able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Follow company policies and supervisor’s instructions
Be dependable and reliable having the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes; including nights, weekends and holidays
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Ability to be on their feet for prolonged periods
High School Diploma or GED graduate preferred
3 months or more of customer service experience
Ability to handle stress under pressure
Ability to provide quality communication and customer service
Ability to learn and use technical equipment (e.g. registers)
Ability to accurately exchange and reconcile currency with the customers
Willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment
Ability to learn and use the company computer to input data
Ability to coordinate multiple activities with attention to detail
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
