About the Position:

The Glen Ellyn Public Library seeks a team-oriented, enthusiastic individual with a passion for serving children and their families. Duties include providing reference and readers’ advisory at the Youth Department service desk and assisting with programming, storytimes and outreach. Other duties include creating displays and passport acceptance.

Proposed Schedule:

Wednesdays: 5pm-9pm

Thursdays: 1pm-9pm

Saturdays (every other): 9am-5pm

Sundays (every other): 1pm-5pm 

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or its demonstrated equivalent. One year successful work experience interacting with children. Knowledge of children's literature and work experience in a public library setting preferred.
