Job Overview:
We are seeking a part-time passionate and experienced Fitness Instructor (we also have a part-time caregiver position available let us know if you'd like to be considered for both positions).
- As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and educating participants, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable exercise environment. If you have a strong background and a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Implement fitness program tailored to the needs and goals of participants who are 55 .
- Our fitness program includes elements of aerobics, dance, pilates, and yoga
- Ensure the safety of our participants by providing proper form, body mechanics, and exercise techniques
- Educate participants on the benefits of regular exercise and healthy lifestyle habits
- Modify exercises or routines to accommodate different fitness levels or physical limitations
- Maintain a clean and organized exercise environment
Qualifications:
- Certification in fitness instruction or related field (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM, CPT, DMT, etc.)
- CPR Certification
- Strong knowledge of exercise science principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire participants
- Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and modify exercises as needed
