MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN I

Under close supervision, will perform entry-level tasks for electrical or mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance activities.

Responsibilities :

• Understands principles and follows established protocol for L.O.T.O.
• Understands arc flash / shock hazard application and properly interprets labels
• Understands principles and operation of multi-meter test instruments
• Able to properly use common hand tools
• Able to interpret and utilize information for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of production equipment
• Understands types, applications, and installation procedures for bearings and lubricants
• Understands the operating principles of a confined fluid system, associated components, and basic schematic interpretation
• Knowledge of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps
• Knowledge of basic interpretation and utilization of assembly drawings for facilitating the repair sub-assemblies
• Has an understanding of integrated systems for the purpose of fault-finding and facilitation of repair
• Use safe practices at all times

Training schedule : Monday through Friday / 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM

Work schedule : Monday through Friday / 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM

All applicants offered employment will complete substance and physical capacity testing.
