Position Summary - Construction Sales Estimator

The Construction Sales Estimator represents us in the restoration and capital improvement segments. They are responsible for the creation, approvals, and contract documentation of restoration and capital improvement jobs and coordinating with the needs of the project management team.

This includes establishing and maintaining a local clientele and assisting in collections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create accurate floor plans using Xactimate and / or the assistance of Matterport.
  • Prepares agreed and approved scope of labor for residential, commercial, and large loss construction and capital projects.
  • The ability to identify potential site hazards such as asbestos and mold.
  • Responsible for full project life cycle ownership
  • Documentation of communications with internal personnel, insurance carriers, and contractual clients
  • Determines what factors of production will impact cost / timeline of a product or service.
  • Working with necessary vendors for accurate costing for bid items
  • Presenting completed estimates to clients / stakeholders
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance professional knowledge and performance

Experience / Education

  • Minimum two years of emergency, restoration, or reconstruction experience, including construction-related sales / customer service experience
  • Experience with Xactimate
  • Knowledge of building codes
  • Drivers license in good standing
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Salary - 55k-90k with a realistic 25% bonus - a full suite of benefits, retirement program and vacation days
