Job Summary

The Dental Translator/Interpreter works directly with the providers and patients by providing thorough and accurate translation/interpretation before, during, and after dental treatment. Serves as a liaison to promote the mobile dental program. Aids patients with the completion of pertinent forms. Schedules and confirms appointments. Ensures the appropriate and courteous treatment of all patients and visitors. 

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in working with the public preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish. Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Efficient typing and computer skills.
• Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Flexible and able to function as a team member.
