Who are you?

You are a problem solver prepared to troubleshoot machinery problems and continuously monitor electrical and mechanical devices as part of a predictive and preventive maintenance plan. You are self-directed and understand proactive maintenance concepts and employs best maintenance practices.

What will you do?

• Perform daily preventative maintenance; log daily maintenance in log books.
• Repair/Replace defective electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic control circuits for AC/DC motor circuits; troubleshoot PLC hardware.
• Diagnose, analyze and repair electronic, electro-mechanical and instrumentation equipment, operating in all areas, utilizing meters, gauges, and other testing methods.
• Install, repair, adjust, and calibrate various types of measuring, recording and controlling equipment necessary to monitor or run manufacturing lines.
• Originate and process urgent work orders.
• Recommends necessary parts for repairs and maintenance with assistance from maintenance engineering team.
• Submits all modifications made to equipment during repairs to lead technicians for update.
• Assists with installation of new equipment and equipment modification projects.

What do you need?

• Two-year technical degree related to the job OR
• Two-years of experience working as a maintenance technician with industrial equipment OR
• Equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Working knowledge of motor control systems (drivers/inverters), PLCs, and communications systems.
• Must possess basic electrical/electronics circuit knowledge and intermediate mechanical, HVAC, and compressor systems knowledge.
• Good working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic devices and principles.
• Must have working knowledge of production and support equipment and related controls.

What isn't great?

• The factory is not climate controlled so it can be hot or cold at times.
• You will be standing/walking in steel-toed shoes on concrete floors during your shift.
• We produce a hygiene product and personal protective equipment includes hair nets, safety glasses, safety shoes, high visibility vests or shirts and beard nets, where applicable. (You wouldn't want debris in your hygiene wipes, would you?)
• The shifts can make for long days.

Pay: From $29.00 per hour
