Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Food Runner to join our team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient food delivery and exceptional guest service. Your main responsibility will be to deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner. Duties:
- Retrieve food orders from the kitchen and deliver them to the correct tables
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of each order before delivering it to guests
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth food delivery
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests
- Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest concerns or inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Aloha POS, is a plus
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology is beneficial
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, servers, and kitchen staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
