Pantry Assistant (part-time)

Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma, Valid Driver's License

General Statement of Duties:
The Pantry Assistant will support the Pantry Office Manager and facilitate the day to day operations of the pantry. The Pantry Assistant is directly responsible to the VP of Community Services and ultimately to the agency President /CEO.
Activities to be performed, but not limited to:

· Sign clients in for services, on the computer, using a web-based tool Pantry Trak

· Develop a thorough knowledge of Community Resources & Refer clients to those Community Resources

· Answering phones

· Attend staff meetings

· Maintain a neat and organized desk

· Assist with dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping; front office, office and common work areas.

· Assist in the warehouse stocking shelves and walking clients through pantry

· Assist with food pickup and delivery and warehouse maintenance.

· Assist with other tasks, as needed, in order to support pantry Managers

· Valid Driver's License and Background Check required.

· Ability to drive or learn to drive) a large box truck.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Columbus, OH 43223: Relocate before starting work (Required)
