• Conduct training of new CARE operators to the CARE Procedures and Standardized Work Instructions for their shift.
• Ability to quickly and accurately visually identify all inspection points per visual standards procedures and CARE inspection sheet.
• Ability to visually identify any non-conformances per visual standards procedures and measurement methods.
• Knowledge of CARE Procedure.
• Ability to enter any non-conformance finding into electronic or paper reporting system.
• Ability to properly identify and segerate non-comforming materials.
• Alerts Shift Supervisor of the finding per the CARE procedure.
• Place and scan sub assemblies or final assemblies into dunnage.
• Perform extra inspections related to a posted Quality Alert.
• Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Responsible for escalating & communicating when there is an issue affecting the Environment, Health, Safety or Quality to his / her respective Manager

Formal Qualifications

One year as a full time Assembly Operator and good working knowledge of the assembly process.

High School or GED diploma.

Good physical condition.

Background in High Volume Manufacturing
