The Physician Liaison is responsible for developing and growing relationships with physician practices, independent health care providers, and the physician staff. The Liaison enhances communication and acts as a key resource between Giving Home Health Care and physician offices. Your communication skills, both written and oral, along with computer skills need to be strong.

Responsibilities

  • Contact physician offices and demonstrating the highest level of customer service and respect to build a partnership with a physician that patients may be referred to.
  • Learn program policies and procedures, billing processes, and other functions of Giving Home Health Care.
  • Provide information and training to medical offices.
  • Perform daily prospecting, rapport building, and conducting follow ups. Develop outreach strategies and target lists to manage/document ongoing physician outreach activity.
  • Continually develop medical knowledge to effectively engage with healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate urgency to physicians to assess patients and start process to have illnesses approved or declined for program.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and in-field management support
  • Strong work ethic and patient focus
  • Very strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Energetic and outgoing personality with an affinity for engaging with the public
  • Ability to focus on new business development, as well as continued contact with current business
  • Experience with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success working independently and without close supervision
