The Role:

We are looking for a Demand Generation Marketer to play a critical role in driving awareness, consideration and adoption of GitKraken’s suite of Git tools to increase new business revenue. The ideal candidate will have experience in organic and paid marketing, analytics and email marketing. You’ll need to be technical enough to develop a deep understanding of our software products and the user/buyer personas: *hint* think software developers

What you'll do:

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term multi-channel demand gen campaigns to drive product downloads, trials and purchases
  • Lead A/B testing strategies and execution across all paid and organic channels
  • Assist in content and asset development to connect with developers at the top of the funnel (awareness → consideration → conversion)
  • Manage the end-to-end paid media campaign lifecycle: ideate new campaigns, build, test, optimize, report
  • Analyze data from multiple sources (Google Analytics 4, HubSpot, ad platforms and more) to uncover new opportunities for growth
  • Test and experiment aggressively to find winning tactics and strategies to grow our digital channels

What you’ll bring:

  • 3-5 years experience working in digital marketing
  • Hands-on experience with advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Reddit, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using Google Analytics 4
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • A desire to seek out cross-functional feedback and input to build comprehensive strategies
  • The spirit of a tinkerer who enjoys technical challenges and embraces new opportunities
  • Genuine interest in the software development industry and marketing to a developer audience
  • You’re a thoughtful problem solver, curious by nature, and willing to tackle challenges independently
  • An endless appetite for experimentation and performance optimization

Location:

This role requires candidates to be located in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, in order to work out of our Scottsdale office for 2-3 days per week. Our VP and Director of Marketing are local to our Scottsdale, Arizona HQ, so we would love to fill this role locally to enable face-to-face collaboration a few days per week at the Scottsdale office.
