As a Community Troop Organizer you will be an important member of our Community Development Team. The position will be scheduled for up 19 hours per week. 

What you’ll be working on:

• Forming and facilitating community-based troops in conjunction with adult volunteers and caregivers
• Coordinating and coaching troop volunteers to support the delivery of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience
• Delivering high-quality Girl Scout experiences to girls
• Developing relationships within the community, and attending community events on behalf of Girl Scouts

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma and work experience in related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Experience working with youth.
• Experience working with local school systems and community organizations, desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.​​​​​​
• Availability to work after school, evening and weekends required.
• Ability to travel within 45 minute radius of Dayton Girl Scout Center required.
