The Role - Property Maintenance Assistant
The Property Maintenance Assistant is responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the camp property. They report to the Regional Property Manager.
This is a full-time role that is benefits eligible.
What you will be doing:
Maintain, repair and replace program equipment to support Girl Scout program at camps
Clean and maintain buildings and equipment
Assist with landscaping of grounds and maintenance of equipment
Technical repair of property equipment as needed at repair person level
Assist Property Manager in onsite projects as assigned and can self-direct
Perform other duties as required or assigned
Maintain interior & exterior of camp buildings
The skills you skills you will use:
Requires high school graduation or GED equivalency; or equivalent experience; Technical Certification preferred
Minimum 3-5 years experience and demonstrated track record in maintenance and repair
Walk one mile through a wooded-dusty terrain area in 20 minutes or less
Scale a ladder of at least 6 feet in height and work comfortably at that elevation
Operate a riding lawn mower, tractor, wood splitter, and chainsaw
