If you are up for the challenge, we want you to join our team as Assistant Camp Director! GSEMA has a day camp opening for an Assistant Camp Director at Camp Cedar Hill located in Waltham, MA.
We are looking for energetic individuals who have a passion for working with youth. Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (GSEMA) offers invaluable skill-building, leadership, training, and enrichment opportunities that can’t be found anywhere else. So, whether you’re an experienced camp counselor or just looking to gain new experiences, we welcome you to apply.
Hours and Work Environment
Camp Dates are June 18 – August 10, 2024. Camp runs Monday – Friday and staff will have 40-hour work weeks. The camp season includes 1 week of training, beginning on June 18 and 6 weeks of camp.
Pay Rate:
$20.00 per hour with additional money-earning opportunities available: extended day, bus monitor, late-night sessions, etc.

Camp Cedar Hill offers campers entering kindergarten through 12th grade the life-changing experience of summer camp. A hop, skip, and a jump from Boston, on 75 acres of natural beauty, at Camp Cedar Hill, camper activities include archery, swimming in two pools, boating on the pond, high and low ropes challenge courses, and the alpine climbing tower—not to mention favorite camp activities like singalongs, and crafts.
