Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey is looking for Customer Experience Associates to add to our team!
Part time Customer Experience associates are fun, genuine, and team-oriented individuals who contribute to store sales and customer satisfaction goals by providing individuals and groups a unique and memorable "WOW" experience. Providing this experience includes, but
is not limited to, assisting with choosing retail merchandise, participating in store activities and programs and answering questions about Girl Scout membership, while maintaining our brand & visual standards, as well as housekeeping duties & standards.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide courteous, consistent, professional, and knowledgeable customer service to customers (volunteers, parents, girls, community & staff) including retail merchandise sales, program/activity assistance and membership sign-up.
Ensure efficient and effective operation of the Girl Experience Center to meet sales and customer expectations.
Maintain the site in an attractive, organized, and functional manner, including housekeeping duties as assigned.
Complete reports and other paperwork as assigned by the Girl Experience Center Manager in a timely fashion.
Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
● 1 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred
● Ability and skill to interact with girls and adults alike.
● Prior experience as a Girl Scout a plus, but not necessary!
Physical Requirements:
● Individuals will be able to read materials and respond in writing or verbally.
● Individuals will actively participate in meetings in person, virtually or over the phone.
● Individuals will be able to operate a cash register, computer keyboard, calculator, copier machine, and other office equipment.
● Work will be predominantly standing or moving around to work with customers.
● Will be required to unpack boxes/supplies and stock shelves.
Other Expectations:
Maximum 20 hours per week; schedule will include evenings and Saturdays; Associates will be assigned to one location as primary however may be asked to cover hours at other locations (mileage will be reimbursed).
