Girard College is looking for candidates for the position of Head Middle and High School Boys’ and Girls’ Bowling Coach. The applicant must have knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of bowling. He/she must also create a high energy, positive team culture that reflects the mission statement of the school.

This is a seasonal, stipend appointment with no benefits.

Responsibilities
The head coach is responsible for teaching and training Middle and High School students, the game of bowling. The head coach is responsible for leading the development and improvement of the bowling program at Girard College. The head coach is responsible for overseeing the program in the best interest of Girard College students by adhering to the policies and regulations of the Penn-Jersey Athletic Association (P.J.A.A), the Metropolitan Philadelphia Athletic Association (M.P.A.A), the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association (P.A.I.S.A.A.), as well as the practices and procedures of the school administration.

Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree is required with a minimum of three years of head coaching experience on the high school, collegiate, or professional level. The candidate must have completed the NFHS coaching education requirements at the time of hire. The candidate must possess outstanding people skills and a willingness to work with student athletes, administration, faculty, and staff.
