Job Description

We are seeking a caring and personable hygienist to join our team at Gilbert Dental Center. The hygienist will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health to our patients. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and a friendly demeanor to ensure our patients feel comfortable and well-cared for during their visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct dental cleanings and examinations
• Evaluate patients' oral health and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
• Assess and document patient progress and treatment records
• Take dental x-rays and perform other diagnostic procedures
• Assist the dentist with various dental procedures as needed
• Maintain a clean and sterile work environment

Qualifications

• Valid dental hygiene license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with dental software and tools
• Previous experience in a dental practice preferred
• Knowledge of dental billing and insurance procedures
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends if needed
