The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of Public Fiduciary clerical, accounting and case management supports by assisting case managers, Deputy and Public Fiduciary by observing and keeping track of personal and financial affairs of clients declared protected or incapacitated by the Court to ensure their estate and well being is protected.Files financial documents, files and scans client’s personal and legal documents, receives and screens visitors/callers, take messages and direct calls to appropriate parties, establishes, maintains and purges office files, performs general office duties including faxing; processing and distributing departmental mail.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position does not supervise other employees. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTIME SPENTPerforms general office duties including faxing, scanning document, distributes checks to clients, filing, answers phones, schedules maintenances, sorts and distributes mail.50%Helps case managers with transporting clients to and from doctor visits, attends medication reviews, attends occasional ISP meetings, shops for clients.20%Runs errands, makes bank deposits, takes mail to post office and County mailroom, takes documents from office to attorney's office to courthouse.20%Helps case managers inventory client’s houses and possessions, helps case managers move clients to new residences.10%Performs other duties as assigned.BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has no responsibility over any types of budget.PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIESThis position does not have project responsibilities.ORAL COMMUNICATION DUTIESThis position explains County procedures or processes.WRITTEN COMMUNICATION DUTIESThis position creates or edits documents, internal memos, emails and reports.INTERACTIONS WITH THE GENERAL PUBLICInteracts extensively with employees, customers, the general public, vendors, regulatory bodies, and other groups and/or individuals and Institutions over the telephone, by email, and/or in person.INTERACTIONS SPECIFICALLY WITH CUSTOMERSSometimes (More than 10% but less than 25% in a year)

Occasionally, may become exposed to telephone verbal abuse by customers or citizens; and individuals with high level of emotional distress. PROTECTIVE GEAR & SAFETY MANUALSIncumbents in this position are required to constantly follow written safety procedures and manuals relevant to the division or department. CONSEQUENCES OF ERRORPotential errors can cause inconveniences to other employees, and/or delays in related work areas. Delays of services are possible.
