Giggle Garden Childcare is Hiring a Child Care Worker Near Fargo, ND

Childcare Provider

Duties:

- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Create a stimulating and engaging environment for children to learn and grow.
- Assist the Lead Teacher with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, including educational and recreational activities.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Change diapers, assist with potty training, and ensure proper hygiene practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare area.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.

Qualifications:

- Experience in childcare, daycare, or nannying preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Ability to provide care for infants, toddlers, and young children.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and parents.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors with empathy.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and other staff members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques is a plus.
- Certification or degree in early childhood education or special education is a plus but not required. Annual trainings are required by licensing guidelines. These required trainings are paid for by Giggle Garden upon a completed background check/fingerprinting screen.
