Gig Waste Services, LLC is a waste management company committed to providing reliable and efficient services in Montgomery County. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Automated Side Loader Garbage Truck Driver to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and responsible individual to fill the role of Full-Time ASL Garbage Truck Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely collection of waste materials from designated service locations within Montgomery County using a fully automated side loader garbage truck. In addition to collection duties, the driver will deliver and set up new trash cans each week and may be required to take the truck to a service center for normal preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a fully automated side loader garbage truck to collect and transport waste materials.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Communicate with Route Manger via phone and TXT Message
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of the vehicle.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on the truck and, when necessary, take the vehicle to a service center.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the assigned truck.
• Deliver and set up new trash cans at designated locations each week.
• Drive a pickup truck / trailer combo to transport new trash cans for delivery
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Submit to random drug and alcohol testing, a background check, and normal ongoing CDL driving record checks.
• Strong English Language skills. Spanish Language skills is a plus.
• Previous experience in operating garbage trucks or similar vehicles preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy waste containers.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
• Flexibility to work a part-time schedule with the potential for additional hours based on business needs.

Additional Information:

Truck yard is near Cleveland, TX and most routes are along Highway 105

Driving record inspection and random drug/alcohol testing is a mandatory requirement.
