Gifted Travel Network is Hiring a Finance Manager Near Mooresville, NC

This position is part of the finance team at Gifted Travel Network (GTN) which is responsible for ensuring our travel advisors (Independent Contractors) are paid their commissions in a timely fashion and helping them troubleshoot any issues they may experience. This is not a remote position. This position would require you to work in our office in Mooresville, NC.

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following items:

· Ensure timely response to commissions@ inbox inquiries and troubleshooting of issues.

· Triage escalations and determine appropriate course of action.

  • Play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely commission payments for our travel advisors.
  • Create and implement processes and procedures, identifying areas for enhanced efficiency.
  • Assume a hands-on approach for tactical work when team members are unavailable, maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that commission processes are streamlined and scalable to accommodate the organization's growth.
  • Supervise commission team members by overseeing day-to-day activities and ensuring team goals are met, while assuming typical supervisory responsibilities including performance evaluations, coaching, and professional development
  • Utilize Asana for creation and tracking of various projects and team tasks.
  • Learn and utilize Keap (CRM) and Sion (travel industry specific system). Identify areas for improved efficiency in managing members utilizing both systems.
  • Process 1099s for advisors
  • Create and provide clear and concise communication on updates and notifications regarding commissions to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

· Business management background with a hands-on approach with team and process management.

· Strong desire to help others through professional, yet heart-centered, mentoring of team growth.

· Experience in creating and implementing Budgets.

· Flexibility is critical to success as this is a fast-paced and quickly growing company.

· Ability to operate independently and to proactively research answers; be solution focused.

· Patience, a calm demeanor, and ability to work with people of varied personalities.

· Excellent attention to detail

· Outstanding communication skills – both written and oral

· High level of agility and adaptability

· 3-5 years management experience

· Finance, accounting or analysis background.

· Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills

· Mastery of computer systems

· Minimum BA or BS, preferably degree in Business or Finance
