Gibson Arnold and Associates is looking for an associate with 1 year of experience in to join an AmLaw 100 law firm. The ideal candidate will possess experience drafting internal legal memoranda as well as briefs, and other documents for filing with federal courts and federal agencies including the Internal revenue Service, interacting directly with agents and attorneys of the Department of justice, IRS, other federal agencies, state taxing agencies and state regulatory agencies and state regulatory bodies, develop litigation skills though court practice in federal and district courts, the Cricut of Appeals, and the United States Tax Court, contribute to a broad range of tax matters including complex tax planning, representing public and private companies in tax controversy matters, support the practice group by preforming general research and writing.
