Job Summary:
Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as every other Wednesday
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Endoscopy Technician to join our medical team. The Endoscopy Technician will be responsible for assisting physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of medical terminology, possess excellent technical skills, and be detail-oriented.
Duties:
- Prepare and set up endoscopy equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order
- Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures
- Clean and disinfect equipment after each procedure
- Document patient information, procedure details, and any complications that may arise
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Endoscopy Technician program preferred
- Previous experience as an Endoscopy Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to endoscopy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Willing to train for the position
Job Types: Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 14 – 22 per week
