GHX is Hiring a Remote Consultant - Content

Conduct multiple healthcare supply chain project engagements focused on master data management and electronic transactions. Will demonstrate the value and ROI of GHX products through improved productivity, decreased supply chain costs and increased accuracy in supply chain data management and revenue capture. 

Evaluate and define customer best practices with GHX products and tools to optimize product adoption.

Interface directly with GHX connected customers to improve their integrated supply chain processes, increase cost savings, and create repeatable processes for use across the GHX customer base. 

Document the savings and process improvement opportunities.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

· Maintains a prioritized focus on personal-care and development, client needs and project delivery, Consulting Department functions, and internal GHX collaborations.

· Actively collaborates with supervisors in deploying GHX products to clients.

· Meets and builds relationships with client resources by presenting and discussing industry trends, best in class strategies, and gaining buy in for GHX industry initiatives and consulting services. 

· Utilizes Content-related consulting delivery methodologies pertaining to clients’ item master, purchase order history, and contracting data management.

· Instruct customers on best practices related to implementation and use of GHX products and processes.

· Develops and facilitates training sessions to implement identified change management in support of GHX product initiatives.

· Directs client collection of qualitative and quantitative data to assess current processes, benchmark against best practice metrics, and quantify improvement opportunities.

· Identifies opportunities in the customer organization where GHX products or services can make improvements related to revenue cycle, master data management, clinical procedure documentation, inventory management and billing documentation processes.

· Develops process improvement plans to address the identified opportunities.

· Leads client discussions and meetings to present analysis and facilitate client decision making in selecting improvement tactics.

· Collaborates with GHX Implementation and Integration, Customer Success Manager, Sales, Product Management and Marketing to identify and address customer needs.

· Creates solutions to client problems and monitors engagement progress.

· Creates support documentation, work plans, and other deliverables.

· Coordinates client assignments: monitors client satisfaction, assures engagement efficiency and quality, and manages continuous improvement process.

· Ability to contribute different thoughts, ideas and viewpoints that lead to greater innovation on projects and cross-functional collaborative efforts. 

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, or combination of education and equivalent work experience.

· Minimum of 3 years practical hospital supply chain experience or equivalent supply chain consulting experience.

· Minimum of 1 year healthcare consulting or related experience.

· Demonstrated knowledge of master data management principles and industry best practices.

· Demonstrated knowledge of contract management practices, supply chain contract usage and optimization, and industry best practices.

· Demonstrated knowledge of hospital procurement processes, accounts payable processes, and exception management processes.

· Hands on working knowledge of at least one hospital materials management information system (Lawson, Oracle, PMM, Workday, Meditech).

· Hands on working Knowledge of GHX tools and solutions.

· Knowledge of industry leading practices and key metrics.

· Understanding of healthcare operations.

· Comprehension of basic financial accounting activities.

· Strong analytical ability to identify processes and determine how to create process improvement opportunities.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

· Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple initiatives.

· Demonstrated project management and deliverable creation.

· Willingness to travel 25% of the time, as needed.

Estimated salary range: $78,000 - $104,000

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include: health, vision, and dental insurance, accident and life insurance, 401k matching, paid-time off, and education reimbursement, to name a few.
