A hospital organization in the Elmira, New York Area is seeking 2 full-time and permanent ICU/CCU Resource RNs to join their team in their virtual care center!

This organization is known for operating 5 hospitals in New York and Pennsylvania. They have an excellent reputation, being named a 2024 Top Place to Work in Healthcare.

The team consists of virtual nurses who oversee the care of patients using integrative technology and screens, throughout the hospitals. The screens display the patients’ EMR, a workflow to stay on task with the bedside teams at the actual hospitals, with the ability to remote into a patient’s room. The virtual nurse works to prevent falls, ensure compliance, improve response time, and provide patient safety.

A Day in the Life:

• As the ICU/CCU Resource Nurse, you’ll provide virtual support to the bedside nurses on our inpatient acute care units throughout the hospital system from our virtual care center
• Collaborate with the bedside nurses to provide coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan.

Schedule: 3x12s overnights 6p-6:30a

Compensation: $25k SIGNON $81k-$110k annually

Qualifications:

• Active PA & NY licenses are BOTH REQUIRED
• 5 years’ experience in Critical Care (CCU) or Intensive Care (ICU) is REQUIRED
• BLS, ACLS & CCRN required within 6 months of start date
