Description

Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends during pool season and occasional evening meetings.

Position Purpose: 

Provide property grounds keeping and light maintenance to the assigned property. Attention to detail and our residents are #1 priority. Above average communication, time management and customer service skills are essential. 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Provide friendly, professional courteous customer service.

• Walks the grounds and common interior areas daily, removing litter and debris from lawns, planting beds, parking areas, sidewalks, ramps, and indoor spaces. Completes inspections according to HOA governing documents of visible areas and documents violations to be sent to homeowners.

• Ensures dog waste stations are collected and placed in property trash cans for weekly pick up, trash cans are placed for pick up, and returned for the week.

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the community in line with the established standards, communicates with landscaping vendor.

• Monitors and maintains pool area (straightening up the area) as well as communicates with Pool Vendor. (when applicable).

• Respond to inquiries/requests of the owners, board members, and management.

• Complete work requests in timely, efficient manner.

• Ensures job site safety and follows all job site rules.

• Performs routine, ongoing and preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.

• Ensures tools, equipment, and shop areas are in optimum condition. 

• Removes snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, steps, and driveways.

• Documents problems, delays, daily progress of job(s), labor used, materials purchased or returned, and weather days on the job log. 

• Attends and completes all required training and any other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, tech or trade school is a plus.
• A minimum of at least two years residential industry experience to understand the challenges of maintenance with property management industry is required.
• Be able to work independently and in a team environment. 
• Ability to work in multiple weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Stable job history, professional appearance.
