Services provided include School-based Outpatient Therapy, Intensive In-Home Services, Substance Abuse treatment, and Child/Adolescent Day Treatment. Getting Ready currently provides services or has licensed facilities in the following NC Counties: Beaufort, Camden, Carteret, Chowan, Currituck, Craven, Dare, Edgecombe, Greene, Halifax, Hertford, Nash, Onslow, Pamlico, Pitt, Sampson, Warren, Wayne, and Wilson. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in the human services discipline. AND at least one year of experience working with children/adolescents in mental health field.
  • The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • The ability to write routine reports and correspondence in a legible manner.
  • The ability to use basic math skills including multiplication, division, understanding units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Respects the cultural diversity of children in care, and strives to create a positive relationship.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures the client is receiving appropriate services in accordance with the PCP and that services address established goals.
  • Participates in the Person Centered Planning process.
  • Assists with implementing the home-based behavioral support plan with the beneficiary and the beneficiary's caregivers as indicated in the PCP
  • Provides appropriate professional services with all available family members utilizing a variety of psycho-education approaches.
  • Confers with other staff and may make appropriate referrals to other agencies who offer effective treatment.
  • Must respond to family emergencies either by phone or in person.
  • Will be responsible for helping families develop an effective termination plan.
  • Assists in monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Provide services for clients and families in their homes or other neutral community locations.
  • Must be available to respond to family emergencies twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, either by telephone or in person, by providing families current and updated contact information.
  • Participates in agency and clinical staff meetings and in-service training sessions as needed or directed.
  • Assists with crisis interventions.
  • Maintains sensitivity to cultural differences with client population.
  • May be assigned other duties as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
