About the Platform Operations & Data Team 

The GetScale Platform Ops & Data team is a group of analytical, execution-focused operators that get excited about running the platform that powers our world-class customer acquisition engine.

Working across a wide range of internal & external technologies, they love improving our systems, providing insightful analysis, and solving hard problems to drive impact across the business.

About the Role

As a Manager on the Platform Ops & Data team, your role is pivotal in empowering both our internal teams and clients by configuring, evolving, and optimizing the platform that is fundamental to our operations. 

You will work directly with stakeholders in Product, Engineering, and Business Operations to pioneer initiatives, launch new features, perform detailed analyses, and significantly contribute to the strategic direction of GetScale's internal platform. 

This Role Will

Act as a pivotal expert in achieving platform objectives that align with partner results, working in close partnership with business and technical leadership to reach significant milestones. Navigate with vision and autonomy, identifying enhancements to our platform and processes through comprehensive analysis. You will design and manage experiments, transitioning from concept to impactful outcomes with minimal supervision. Advocate for stakeholder needs, spearheading the launch of new features and pilot initiatives, organizing training sessions, and leading the development of testing protocols to meet business requirements. Shape and refine our platform's roadmap, engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders to introduce and expand new functionalities, thus improving our operational framework. Drive business performance, by managing our platform throughout the entire lifecycle from ideation to configuration, and maintenance.

About You

  • Your background includes 4-6 years of experience in analytics on a fast-paced data, product, or business operations team.
  • You are an individual who excels in dynamic environments, adept at managing shifting priorities and diverse challenges. Your experience has equipped you with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes effectively.
  • Your background aligns with our operational focus, potentially in areas such as contact centers, customer/supply acquisition, or delivery marketplaces.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize efficiently amidst competing demands, formulating solutions that are not merely temporary fixes but are scalable and precise.
  • Exceptional communication skills are paramount, enabling effective collaboration across teams and with partners.
  • Known for your independence, you have the capacity to identify priorities and pursue them with minimal guidance.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with a broad array of data structures in cloud data warehouses.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to manipulate, clean, and present data outside of a data warehouse.
  • Preferred: Intermediate Python skills and the capacity to strategically choose between a suite of data tools to get the job done (SQL, Python, Excel, etc.)
  • Preferred: Familiarity with sales, marketing, and contact center technology like Salesforce, Customer.io, Sendgrid, or Five9.
