Mobile Lead Car Wash and Detail Technician

JOB PURPOSE

Get Spiffy is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Car Wash and Detail Technician to oversee our car detailing operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining vehicles at their best, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional leadership skills. As the Lead Technician, you will be responsible for managing a team of car wash and detail professionals, ensuring high-quality services, and maintaining a smooth workflow.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

2. • Supervise and lead a team of car wash and detail technicians.
   • Provide training to new team members and ensure ongoing skill development.
   • Delegate tasks effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency.
   • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
3. Quality Control:
4. • Inspect vehicles before and after detailing to ensure quality standards are met.
   • Implement and enforce best practices for car washing, detailing, and customer service.
   • Conduct regular quality checks to maintain consistent service excellence.
5. Customer Service:
6. • Interact with customers to understand their specific detailing needs.
   • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.
   • Strive to exceed customer expectations and enhance overall satisfaction.
7. Equipment Maintenance:
8. • Oversee the maintenance and repair of detailing equipment.
   • Ensure that all tools and machinery are in proper working condition.
   • Identify and recommend new equipment or upgrades as needed.
9. Inventory Management:
10. • Manage and track detailing supplies and inventory.
    • Place orders for replenishment and maintain optimal stock levels.
    • Monitor expenses and work towards cost-effective solutions.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Knowledge of various car detailing products, tools, and techniques.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in car detailing with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• Basic computer and math skills
• Planning, organizational, problem solving and people skills
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
• Flexibility in scheduling which may include nights weekends and holidays

WORKING CONDITIONS

This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes. Must be able to work in extreme conditions such as hot and cold weather.

• Must be able to push, pull, bend at the knees and waist, lift, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, climb steps, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, all of this for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the day.
