In this role, you'll collaborate with team members to manage communications and negotiations between our company and clients regarding loans and other investments. You'll have the opportunity to review underwriting and provide insights into the issuance of securities to our valued customers. Occasional travel may be required. The Impact You Will MakeAs a Multifamily Underwriter - Advisor, your role will empower you to shape each day according to your strengths and interests. Here are some key responsibilities you'll handle:
Provide guidance on potential risks and costs associated with our services for customers.
Conduct thorough analysis of lending decisions, offering recommendations for process improvement.
Advise on processes related to the issuance of securities or other financial loans to customers.
QualificationsExperience is key to success in this role. Here's what we're looking for: Minimum Required Experience
6 years of relevant experience
Comprehensive knowledge of commercial mortgage Multifamily underwriting, including property financial analysis, borrower credit, and market analyses
Demonstrated experience in underwriting and structuring commercial loans for Multifamily housing
Knowledge and experience within the commercial Multifamily real estate industry
Strong credit and financial analysis skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with DUS/GSE underwriting guidelines
Desired Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience evaluating businesses, projects, budgets, and other financial entities or instruments
Risk assessment/mitigation and relationship management skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and strategic partners
Customer and market insights
Proficiency in Excel (intermediate or advanced) and Sales Force
Governance and Compliance experience preferred
Loan management skills, including fraud identification and origination
Project management skills, including planning and resource management
Strong presentation and influencing skills
