Job OverviewWe are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Brand Marketing Associate. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our Brands Brand Management team across various aspects of promoting our core Brands. Your responsibilities will encompass Brand Business Analytics, Communications Support, Customer/Tradeshow Support, Sales Support, and Project Management. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our Brand Management function and work collaboratively with various departments including Sales, Sales Operations, Merchandising, Product Development, Product Business Management, and Finance to achieve our goals and metrics.

As a member of our team, you will collaborate with food scientists, product developers, brand managers, sourcing experts, product managers, and chefs to enhance our product offerings, attract a wider range of shoppers, and build shopper loyalty. Together, we aim to provide more choices for consumers and more opportunities for retailers, strengthening our customers and inspiring our food solutions.
Job ResponsibilitiesBrand Business Analytics (25%)
Utilize Nielsen's syndicated data to develop insights on Brand and category sales trends.
Analyze household panel data to provide insights for brand management, sales ops, and sales.
Identify opportunities for sales improvement through promotion timing, pricing, and tactics.
Conduct assortment analysis to recommend optimal product assortments for retailers.
Support line reviews and customer category reviews with data-driven insights.
Contribute to monthly and annual forecasting based on sales trends and market input.
Project Management (25%)
Manage project timelines and workflow for marketing materials and customer marketing materials.
Contribute to the execution of marketing plans.
Ensure accurate and timely upload of product content for new launches.
Collaborate with digital teams to troubleshoot and resolve web publishing issues.
Support international product sales through information gathering and product tracking.
Sales Materials Support (20%)
Assist in the development of category business reviews and new item selling materials.
Create sales presentations and sell sheets.
Proof marketing materials for accuracy and make recommendations for revisions.
Fulfill ad hoc requests for custom marketing materials.
Brand Tracking (10%)
Generate and distribute weekly tracking reports using Nielsen syndicated data.
Measure the performance of marketing initiatives using internal analytics and syndicated data.
Communications Support (10%)
Provide information monthly on new items for publication in UNFI's publications.
Contribute to Public relations programs for Brands and manage sample requests for PR.
Customer/Tradeshow Support (10%)
Manage tradeshow tracker outlining deliverables for Brands tradeshows.
Coordinate meetings to ensure timely execution of tradeshow deliverables.
Job RequirementsPerform other relevant job duties as required.
Education/ Certifications/or Equivalent Combination Of Education Training And ExperienceBachelor's degree in marketing or business preferred or equivalent related experience and training.
Experience3 years of related experience in marketing.
Knowledge/ Skills/ AbilitiesStrong data analysis and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Flexibility and adaptability to learning new technologies.
Prior experience working on cross-functional teams.
Some travel may be required (approximately 1-2x per year).
