Are you a sales-driven professional with a passion for the travel industry? We're seeking an organized and detail-oriented Sales Account Executive West to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to support our Regional Sales Directors, maintain strong relationships with trade partners, and drive bookings for our luxury river cruise and yacht brands. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in enhancing our brand presence across the West coast territory, both online and in-person. You'll follow up on sales opportunities, facilitate webinars, coordinate events like ship visits and FAM trips, and provide day-to-day support to our Regional Sales Directors. Additionally, you'll assist with account management, system training, and identifying new group opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Support Regional Sales Directors in creating a strong brand presence in the assigned territory
Follow up with maintenance-segmented accounts on sales opportunities and training needs
Report on maintenance accounts, establish sales dashboards, and measure progress
Facilitate webinars to increase awareness and preference for our brands
Assist with account management and system training as required
Support Regional Sales Directors at events, which may involve occasional overseas travel
Coordinate events such as ship visits and FAM trips
Provide day-to-day support to Regional Sales Directors with agency inquiries
Complete administration tasks for new travel advisors and agencies on internal CRM, Salesforce, and Agent Portals
Submit maintenance requests and IT tickets as needed
Update Trade event and travel calendars
Monitor Regional and accounts' incentive programs and fulfill prize distribution
Build strong rapport and supportive relationships with Travel Advisors, ensuring timely issue resolution
Support reservations to strengthen trade relationships and promote a "trade-friendly" culture
Identify new group opportunities and coordinate with the Group Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director to win more group business
Liaise with key colleagues to improve internal communications, practices, and promote teamwork
Liaise with trade marketing managers and brand managers to ensure all marketing requests are fulfilled
Work directly with assigned Travel Agency Partners or as directed by Regional Sales Directors or Trade Sales Manager
Periodic (domestic and/or international) travel, approximately 30% to 40% of time

Organized with excellent attention to detail
Solution-oriented and outcome-focused mindset
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS Office suite
Familiarity with Salesforce.com (preferred)
Social media skills (preferred)
Previous travel industry experience and familiarity with the agency community (preferred)
Neat, professional appearance and demeanor when representing the company brands at trade functions
Willingness to travel occasionally, including international travel
Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
Sales mentality and team player attitude
