As an Individual Product Advisor, you will play a crucial role in expanding membership growth in strategic target areas. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying eligible individuals and enrolling them in various health insurance plans, such as Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, Qualified Health Plans (QHPs), and HARP. Additionally, you will assist in enrolling consumers in Off-Exchange and Medicare Advantage (MA) products, including D-SNP (Dual Special Needs Plan), while adhering to federal and state guidelines. Your role will involve providing guidance on plan benefits and tailoring them to meet the needs of each customer. You will conduct individual and group Field Outreach activities throughout the assigned regions and deliver public presentations on available products to ensure plan visibility and receive valuable feedback. Collaboration with Field Marketing and Community Engagement Representatives is essential to drive growth from events in your assigned territories. These events may include health fairs, community expos, festivals, holiday-themed events, and medical provider events. As an Individual Product Advisor, you must provide fair and impartial information to individual Marketplace consumers regarding coverage options available through the State Health Marketplace. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with community-based organizations, medical provider partners, and community contacts within your assigned territory is a key aspect of this role. You will be accountable for generating qualified leads and referrals and ensuring their timely conversion. Additionally, you will create and maintain individual prospect database files, including information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, documentation, and other required data for your assigned territory. Completing internal management reports as requested is also part of your responsibilities. Key Requirements
Flexibility to work evenings (minimum two per week) and weekends (two days per month)
Participate in at least two events every month
Local travel is required
Ability to lift and transport heavy promotional materials up to 30 lbs. (brochures, giveaways, etc.)
Willingness to undergo screenings, such as proof of immunizations, drug testing, and additional background checks, as required by outreach sites
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
Minimum of two years of experience in customer service or sales, with some experience in the healthcare industry (hospital, medical office, health insurance)
Bilingual proficiency is preferred
